Reviews and Ratings
The B&B was located in a charming park setting with a fantastic choice for breakfast and a great location to explore Buxton, offering spacious and well-equipped rooms with quality toiletries. However, the room layout was a bit awkward with only a skylight and no view.
The hotel offers bright and airy rooms at the front of the property, which are very well appointed; though a bit small, they provide a warm atmosphere. The service, led by fantastic and friendly owners/staff, ensures all our needs were met. The location is ideal, overlooking the park and situated in the town center, built during the Edwardian/Victorian period. The dining experience was delightful, with quality ingredients and a beautiful menu selection. Overall, a charming stay with minor room size and warmness concerns.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated with period furniture and had a pleasant side view of the lake, although a wider selection of breakfast options would have been appreciated. The location couldn't have been better, with stunning views over the park and easy access to the town center. The dining experience was enjoyable, featuring a varied selection of breakfasts with a focus on local produce.
